“Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together make this world a beautiful garden.” (Author unknown)

Hello, my name is Caroline Evans and I help families flourish! I offer a range of services including  parenting advice and support (covering a range of issues including sleep, feeding, weaning, behaviour, independent toileting) and I offer post natal care and support packages.

I have a special interest in infant feeding (breastfeeding, bottle feeding and weaning/nutrition), tongue tie, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), allergy and sleep. I also have a keen interest helping to support children's emotional well being and looking at what may be behind certain behaviours. As such, I spend a lot of time researching these areas.

Whether you are searching for bespoke advice and support or childcare, please do read on further to see if I may be able to help. For over 20 years I have had the pleasure and privilege of building a career from a true passion of mine - families. I say families because to me, working with babies and children is not just about childcare, it is about working as part of the family. From my early experience in childcare, to the more recent years where I have specialised in post natal care (maternity nursing) and troubleshooting, I have been lucky enough to work with some of the most amazing families and have gained a wealth of experience from which I have learnt so much. This experience only became further enriched when I became a mother myself. In addition to my professional experience I have a CAP Petite Enfance (French early years qualification, similar to an BTEC/NNEB) and I regularly invest my time in numerous Continued Professional Development (CPD) courses to increase my knowledge base and keep up-to-date with recent research developments (see my About Me page for further information). Knowledge is constantly evolving and everyone can always learn more! Much of my work revolves around offering support and advice to families around the world through my bespoke remote consultancy service. Despite this being a key service I provide, I still like to undertake home visits and occasional childcare or I would miss the little ones too much. After all, they are my greatest teachers! I am a firm believer in instinctive baby/child-led parenting. By this, I do not mean that the child rules the roost. If we can get back to listening to parental instincts and learning to read babies' cues or by taking the time to listen to children when they are trying to communicate, then many of the issues parents often encounter could be avoided or easily resolved. I do not use a 'one size fits all' approach… every child is wonderfully unique. If you would like to receive my newsletter please click below to sign up.
