Hello, I’m Shannon.

I believe that everyone deserves a doula. I’m here to support, inform and empower you to have your best birth experience. To help you start your parenthood journey and lay foundations for a wonderful life with your sweet new babe.

A little about me: I live in Desborough with my partner Luke and our two boys, Arlo who’s 3 and Nova who’s just turned one. Having my children showed me that there is truly not enough support for families throughout pregnancy, birth and postnatally. I believe that there is no such thing as too much support. Someone to validate your worries and support you through them, to hold space for you physically and emotionally and to empower you to make informed decisions.

​Your Birth Doula

I believe that everyone should be able to experience an empowering and positive birth, no matter what form that comes in. Vaginal birth, c-section, homebirth or VBAC – I’m here to support you whatever you choose.

If a family is informed of their choices, supported physically and emotionally and surrounded by love, birth is the most magical thing. As your doula, it is my job to support you in anyway you would like me too. I have knowledge surrounding aromatherapy in the birthing room and rebozo techniques to help you through labour more comfortably.

I also offer birth photography – the perfect way to remember your journey into parenthood and the arrival of your sweet new babe.

Postnatal Doula

It takes a village to raise a child, but society in 2019 isn’t very supportive of that. Your left alone with your new babe so quickly and sometimes with very little support available from friends and family members. If you need a listening ear, someone to look after your baby while you take a nap or shower, breast-feeding help, dinner putting on or even the washing hanging out, a doula is here to help you.
