Pregnancy yoga is a great way to stay in shape during pregnancy, it can also be a great way to prepare the body for birth, The practiced asanas (positions and postures used in yoga) can help with strength, flexability. and stamina, all of which are extremely vital during labour, and developing the practice of pranayama (yoga breathing) promotes calmness and well-being during pregnancy, birth and beyond.
It also offers a holistic way to reduce or eliminate some common pregnancy symptoms such as pelvic girdle pain, aches and pains, cramps and fatigue.
Suitable from 14 weeks up to birth.
BABY/POSTNATAL YOGA
Baby yoga offers the protective space to bond with your baby, whilst safely and gently easing you back into fitness yourself post pregnancy, giving you the support to slowly start working on your pelvic floor and abdominal area.
Baby yoga is relaxing for both you and your baby, it helps maintain your baby’s natural suppleness and promotes normal development. It is also a great way to meet new mum's and make some really great friendships - not just for you but for your babies too.
Suitable post 6 weeks check-up until Babies crawling.
