BUY THIS PRODUCT. I would recommend the Sleepyhead to any parent with a newborn. Now, when I was pregnant I was in 2 minds as to whether we would need/use one, how ignorant I was. 2 weeks of Darcey being in our world, not sleeping in her Moses basket, only sleeping on us or co-sleeping in the bed led me to buying our first sleepyhead, that night she slept like a dream, the following night & every night since ( we are now on the Sleepyhead Grande) The sleepyhead allowed me to do jobs around the house whilst Darcey napped safely in her next to me crib, with her sleepyhead inside - it fits a dream! We managed to get our whole bed back in the evenings, Darcey was safe and snuggly in her own bed, and we've not looked back since. UNTIL we went on holiday abroad in April when Darcey had just turned 6 months, we flew with Ryanair and I refused to take her sleepyhead just incase anything had happened to it. We had 7 nights of hell, she wouldn't settle or sleep for more than a couple of hours and then ended up back in our bed. After a very long ( due to the lack of sleep ) holiday, we had noticed she suddenly looked too big for her Deluxe and purchased the Grande which is suitable until 36 months roughly! 1 rule, buy a spare cover! ( We had the original white and the tropical leaves- their is so many lovely prints) You don't want to have to rush around washing the current cover & making sure its dry for their next sleep in a matter of hours! The first time you wash the cover it can be a bit of a pickle understanding how to squeeze the sausage like pillow back in the cover, but you will get the hang of it. I only allowed Darcey to sleep in her Sleepyhead from the onset as I didn't want to confuse her as that was just her place to sleep. There's many comments and mixed reviews when talking about sleeping in the sleepyhead, clues in the name, BUT - SIDS is something you need to take into consideration when deciding on this genius product. I swear this helped Darcey to sleep through the night from 6 weeks old and I would purchase it over and over and over again.
